I got tired of my floor mats sliding forward so I made up some straps to click into the connectors on the underside of the mats. I only took pics of the drivers side straps.

I replaced the air cleaner assembly with a K&N cone filter. The car has a whole new sound under WOT.

hung out in Karl's shop in Grandview, MO [Porschedoc] and got to see several amazing cars—

including a 356 and a 912. he troubleshooted a couple of isses, and tuned my 968.

Drove the crap out of it. My heart was beating fast just from driving it normally when I pulled into work.

Still need to fix a couple of rattling heat-shields though.

If yours is anything like mine was, I suggest you also torque the exhaust manifold nuts and the bottom flanges.

Thought about it and admired it in the pictures.
It just occured to me that in the past ~10 years, since i own this car...i cant remember one day not thinking about my 924...if not driving it or working on it.
Is that...bad?

-Read a couple of forum posts on 944's, on 914's and on early 911 S 's

-arranged and put away a few extra 944 parts on the shelves

-put on a battery tender on one of the 944's with an alarm

-planning to have lunch with a couple of Porsche friends and entusiasts

-since the beloved are all sleeping under their car covers , as it is 10 above and calcium chloride is on the street, will check on my ticket availability to South Florida and plan the annual Rolex 24 hour winter getaway. See you in the Porsche Tent by the Ferris wheel......

-Hopefully get my new part I ordered for the track '44 and read about its install

i had the car understeer to failure pretty easily in a cul-de-sac today at about 25 mph.

i had large enough safety margin to enjoy the fun.

come to think of it. this was summer tires on a road where the asphalt is prolly about 30 degrees.

since the day before thanksgiving....

Chicago to KC.

KC to Chicago.

Chicago to KC.

KC to Foxboro (yeah. that Foxboro).

i'm also claiming this car's made more long trips than any 968 in history.
