3rd one.
1st one looks like a 924, the 2nd like a Mazda. If you're not careful, you can easily overpower the lines of the flares, and then you've suddenly got a very ordinary looking car. Which is not what a 944 is all about - imho, of course.

I'm gonna sent my design guy to see the car for real, they've been working from some line drawings but I think they should see the real thing and try enhance the body shape. Will keep y'all posted, thanks for input.

Have you tried mounting the Volks on your car yet? I'm trying to buy a set and they're telling me they won't fit.

Luis, been quiet for a while. Main reason is that we're sorting wiring and last week decided to rip all (non engine) wiring out and just put new for required functions only. So no new update pics although the rear suspension is in and the 6 speed lsd gearbox from a 968.
Once we've done the wiring and the dash top half goes back in, I will update with pictures. Currently covering the dash in alcantara.
Waiting for OMP fire extinguishing system and for the "smarty cam". The rest is all there and after electical works finish should be straight bolt on work.
Few weeks is what I'm hoping for.

Nice I like the 3rd option
If you tire of the BMW mirrors I did some off of an oldsmobile. I still have to get some pics of them now that they are all painted. Here thy are before paint and some angle modification.

Hank, I too am blown away by the cage welds...pretty enough to be art. As for the paint schemes, I like number 3...by the way, where did you find the blank line (uncolored) drawings? I'd like to have some to Photoshop.

Beautiful car! I'll add my vote to the list for the Number 3 color scheme.
This thread is certainly going to earn itself a pretty decent following.

Carbon fiber 951
Hello
First of all great to chat with you it's allways fun to meet udder lunatics as my self...
I`m specialized in carbon parts for racing cars.
At this point we are making a 951 with the following carbon fiber:
Hood 3.1kg done
Doors 3.6kg one ready
Front & rear fenders 0.5kg and 0.7kg under work
Bumpers 2.1kg & 1.5kg
Nose cone Not ready
Roof 1.0kg done
DTM type difusor 2.3kg (in the mould)
Generator 3.2kg (orig 7kg)
We have iliminated the rear deck floor -13kg (its allso more easy to work on the gear box)
Servo brakes & steering
The idea is to make a 900kg 951
