John, I am shocked! The reason blinker fluid consumption is lowered in the red run group is exactly what you stated.

John adheres to the HWFMR philosophy and will stop at the apex, and sometimes back up to get it lined up correctly. I prefer the old fashioned way and spin which sooner or later gets me close enough.

Persistent rumors suggest that John is too cheap to use muffler bearings, he replaced them with tie-wraps.

BY the way, people who care about well equipped cars and invest in synthetic blinker fluid should ask me about "winter air". A must for the Northern portion of the country.

seems kinda silly to me that we have to entirely change our blinkers out every 30,000 miles...

I have 100,000 on mine but I change my fluid every 3000 or ten track days. Have you neglected your blinkers perhaps?

You wanna live dangerously be my guest. I've known people go as long as 45,000, but they're living on borrowed time, old blinkers can cause any kind of catastrophic failure at any time. And I wouldnt want to be behind the wheel maybe even intending to change lanes and then have that happen.
Yeah Porsche originaly said 90,000kms but that could have been ROI or even just the french market.

you could, but with the higher compression blinkers on the NA, they might blow up. The easiest thing to do is sell them and buy some turbo blinkers

True. But then again you could always take the easy way out and just add the stuff shown in the picture below...

anyone try to swap in some chevrolet blinkers? Im tired of all the maintenance on mine and having to change fluid so often, im thinking maybe just some Camaro blinkers would fit. Would this bastardize my car?

Yes, it will bastardize your car and if you do go with chevy blinkers, your blinkers won't work as well when cornering. You will need to upgrade you brake light fluid to handle the extra resistance as well.

You'll need to change out the windshield to one without the internal antenna, yeah its 2.3mm narrower and will cause wind noise like a canary dying but at least it'll be compatible with the turbo blinkers.

Prior to changing any of your lighting fluids, you should ensure you replace your chem light batteries, and fluid for proper lighting during the procedure. Be sure to wear eye protection and chemical resistant gloves.

Can you make it fit by rolling you fenders? Or by changing the offset of your windshield?

Thats a pretty good idea. But what would you do with the fuel lines to the sunroof motor? They only just reach as it is. You may be able to use the fuel lines from a chinese market buick rendevous.

I changed the offset of my windshield and it worked wonders. Thats weird that you mentioned the sunroof fuel lines. Last week I replaced the lines thinking that would fix everything but it was the damn sunroof motor fuel pump. The thing went out on me in a rain storm. I rushed back, lucky me I had an extra in the garage.
