Unless you want to continue elongating the issue, change all of your sensor wiring to new. New sensor, new harness. I beleive I counted 11 references to these problem from others in your thread.
It is a very real problem. Everything is else should be considered secondary.

You said that you saw sparks near some sensors? When and wich sensors?
You said that you removed the head yourself. How much did you take it apart?
How did you preserve timing? Did you remove the camshaft gear from exhaust camshaft?
If you can get tachometer jumping but still no spark you could test it from coil directly.

And don't buy a used sensor. They are like $80 from 944online.
If a Doctor tells me I need a brain operation, I am not going to have knee surgery because it is easier for him to do.
Since you are unfamaliar with the car, cough up $300 and have someone purchase and install the new sensors. Otherwise you are chasing your tail.

If you do not have the money now, it is OK....just walk away from it for a bit. Come back to it whe you have the money, the time and the patience. Believe me....I know they can be frustrating, but switching out parts back ad forth that are fine can sometimes lead to MORE issues, not less.
Roll it back in the garage....pop open a cold one, and enjoy the Ravens/Steelers game. The car, and the issue, will be there when you have the meansto properly fix it.
BTW...what I meant by "they", was that these are the same idiots that took a wad of cash from you and still could not fix it.....yes???
There are those here to help you, but not when you do not listen to their advice...and I am not talking about just mine.
Relax. let it go for today, and enjoy the game.

It stops when you take the very advice you asked for.
