Barber is a super sweet track, but they are super picky on what they allow there. I'm sure that there would be no fires or loud noises. Not to mention the laundry list of charges they have for you if you go off track/drop oil. There is always Kershaw/CMP - the new configuration from what I hear is a blast!

We have the OK for VIR in July as well as an invitation back to MidOhio in Aug. The thrid option I am feeling out is if Nelson Ledges will be finished by next year.
Don't worry about "if it can be done," just think about which one you would like to run at.

Well Done, Trav! You all can't imagine how much more I enjoyed this Fest than past affairs. I really, really appreciate Trav taking the baton. The track options and potential for growth are outstanding.

This pic from Fest08 is a toast to you, Bud!!

I wish I had taken a pic of the swamp buggy turning the place into a cloud of pesticide fog to kill off all the mosquitoes. I wonder what that stuff was, anyway...

I second Nelson Ledges - that was the perfect venue for Fest and an awesome track.

Here's a third vote to (with apologies to the Eagles) - Take it to the Ledges, One more time!

And not just because I want to be like Sammie... even though I do.

I only went to the last two fests, but it seems to me like the off track activities were more relaxed at Nelson. But track-wise, the whole circuit can't even compare to one turn at Mid-Ohio. As you can tell, I love Mid-Ohio. VIR would be cool since I've never been there. So would the Glen. Summit Point main circuit is a real great course too. The problem is that Ohio seems to be the center of the 944 universe, so going too far from there might hurt attendance.

It's been a week and I'm still buzzing over the fantastic time. Thanks Travis for hosting a great event! Looking forward to next year.

You are just lucky I choose to decline my eligibility. At 1300 miles to the event for me, it would be a close one.

You, sir, are ineligible for many reasons - most importantly, you didn't drive a 944 to the event. Now get me some prices on those parts, please!
