my dad only owned his for a year before selling it back to a dealer for a profit. so i highly dount we have anything as far as records. the only pics i know that exist of her, are ones i accidently found with my mom in them wearing leather... <img src="http://www.paragon-products.com/images/barf.gif" alt=" - " /> ok i think im sick now even remembering that. anyways i doubt it really ended up in cal.

as far as fire extinguisher.. 5 lb HALON!! dry chemical fire extinguisher will etch way corode and ruin any metal it touches. Halon will knock out fires, and will not cause damage.

also make a mount that will bolt into the seat rais, so you wont have to drill into the floor. (need it mounted really well, cause you dont want anything that heavy to become a flying projectile in the event of an accident).

good luck tomarrow (i have no idea what youre doing though lol).
oh btw.. when's the comic book come out? let me know, id like to buy one off ya.

edit.. holy ****!?!? when did i hit 400? go me! yes this is a true sign.. i absolutly have no life at all

The dealer had made her salvage for no other reason than he felt like it; cheaper, I suppose. Since I don't intend to sell her, I don't care since I know the truth behind it. Screw Carfax to hell in the future!

Anyway, I have to pass the safety test to be roadworthy, then take her over to the DMV and pass the smog, then I get the new plates to put on the car. That's why I need good wishes on the catalytic converter not screwing up the test!

Thanks, fty! I would love a GT2, but I am very pleased with Kijo. We didn't make it to the safety test, had to replace left rear light assembly, and then we found the rear brakes need replacing. I may have pads in my car kit, so I'm looking through that.

If your friends really want into the comics biz, they need to make sure they have a job to pay the bills first! I've been doing this since I was a teenager, and it gets worse all the time. Now they can't pay me what I'm worth, so I'm working on my own projects.

Harry.. Yep. Just read Dharma Bums to My mom out loud just prior to her passing.. They say the last sense to go is hearing and I thought she needed an adventure. What an amazing story.
I have been eyeing a very worn first edition of Ol' Jack's Haiku's but it's a little pricey..

Seeing your mom in leather.. priceless!!!!

That'll give someone a new nightmare!!

Harry, if you have no life, what does that make me? I'll have copies of the book, do not worry.

Chris, I wonder about you..."Seeing your mom in leather - priceless! That'll give someone a new nightmare!"

Nay, I'd have to see my grandma in a biker suit, and on a Harley! Um, wait...I at least have a pic of her at 90 on the back of a Harley!

Did you find the rear pads? I havn't been able to find them yet and have not had too much time to look for them. I am not sure if I got the parts car so the 931 will probably come apart...

I will have to dig around in the storage locker first thing in the morning, but I do know I have a set of either fronts or backs in storage, as I had just bought them before the idiot got rid of my other car!

So, I drove her pretty good tonight, to my part-time job and back, and tried to get her to overheat. Not doing it, the second fan kicks in at 3/4.

I took a friend out in it to Kinkos, and I swear he was disappointed that I refused to speed, heh. He made the idiotic question to me, "If you aren't going to speed, what are you doing with a Porsche!?" The handling, dude, the handling!

I think my roommate just thinks I'm nuts, and that you are kewl, Lego...but I think he'd looove to see the bike!

Chris, you are so kewl, ya know!

Harry, the world just gets stranger...here's what happened to me yesterday, when we were going to get smogged, etc.

Cops hassled me yesterday, snarl! "Well, it looked like a stripped down Porsche, didn't have the numbers on the back" My response, "I'm repainting the car; numbers are in the trunk." He then said, "I didn't see the dealer sticker in the front; I see it now. You buy this from a private party?" Hello!? "No, officer, I bought it from a dealer." He then flipped through the paperwork, "So, you paid this amount for a Porsche!?" Sigh, "Sir, that's right. because I did alot of work in restoring the car in two weeks; I'm very proud of her, and I think you will find all the paperwork in order."

I HATE Signal Hill police! They LOVE to impound cars! That's where I got my Celica, 4 years ago...grrr. I guess I'm lucky, he didn't take up too much of my time.

Lots of things have been done to the car, just a few small buggie things left...like I NEED a friggin' CD/stereo, before I go NUTS!

After I sleep well, I'll update you all on what's been done, and what else I need.
