Kevin, I removed the coolant reservoir, and sprayed it out with a hose; there was so little oil in the system I really am not concerned; if nothing else, it should prevent some corrosion in the radiator.

Well, tomorrow she gets another upgrade, after repairing a "Screeching cat" under the hood. Looks like the alt-a/c belt needs retentioning, or one of the pulley's has a problem, but she's been doing okay.

I have a new shiny black leather shift boot, along with the rubber one that goes under; we're going to get to hopefully some of the niggly stuff, so I'll keep you posted.

I've had several set-backs this summer, so I'm hoping that is over. Life goes on.

Yes, I do! I emailed you, and no reply; I'll zip you off another one.

Thanks for remembering me and my baby.

Actually, I got the leather shiftboot from Danno, and it's lovely! I got the underneath rubber boot from McKenna Porsche, and I just can't say enough good things about their parts department; they sold me that for under list!

My car though sounds like it's going to eat someone, so I've got to fix that tomorrow...

Julie- Glad to see you are still hard at work. Hope all is well. Right now the 924S is 400 miles away with a bad rotor/ caliper. I'm picking up parts soon and am trying to get back to fix "my baby" and get her road worthy again.
Hopefully I'll be behind the wheel in another 2 weeks or so.. I miss driving it so badly..

What's the latest on the comic book release date???

I have a Poll going on what was wrong with my car.

I couldn't work on it for months because I had sprained & dislocated my right ankle and broken my left ankle; couldn't drive my car for a month! Still ache a little, but much better.

Devia,

Awesome story. I think people gravitate to the persona of a car and it's owner as much as the prestige. Looks to me like your persona matches that of your car and thus the compliments.

Thanks, Ellssuu! I am very proud of my car. and even though she needs a paint job people still flock to it and me, lol, even in sweats!

Oh, we also installed the rubber underboot and the new shift boot! Only thing I don't like is when we pried off the old shift indicator on the top, it chipped a tiny bit and looks like hell; so, thinking of sticking something else there, if not a newer one.

I still can't believe I stuffed a full-sized Nordic track in the back hatch! I should have it in the house this week, and then start working more on my balance and exercise program.

I want to be back on Platform shoes for Halloween.
