Default Upgrading my baby

The upgrading begun, she is at the panel beaters at the moment to respray the nose panel, front bumper, rear bumper and driver side door sill. Followed by a complete buff.

The front seats just came back from the upholsterer covered in Tan leather.

I ordered colour crested center caps from Porsche on Saturday.

I just placed my order with Jageng after not being able to open their website for weeks. I ordered the red mahogany trim, Alu switches, door pins and blue LED kit.

Lots of pics to follow soon!!!

so you're turning the black interior into a black and tan interior? interesting

and I've got a jageng wood kit waiting to be installed - it's a really high quality piece - I can't wait to see how yours turns out

Black and Tan it is, I can't wait to see the Jageng stuff, I still need to order Clear indicators and repeaters, Euro Mirrors and 968 doorhandles and stainless door sills. I'm just waiting to see if Pennywise's car is written off in which case I'll get the clear lenses and Euro mirrors from him.

Not that I'm biased, but I do get a kick from 'champagne'. Can't wait to see the final result!

Like I said before, I have to say again in this thread. Since I saw your car the first time I just had to have one just like it and now after years of waiting the time is finally here.

Thanks for inspiring me.

I'm beginning to wonder .................. should I keep to two tone or just make everything Tan / Champagne (later is actually a better description of the color).

Admitting up front my biases towards two-tone, I will say that it's awfully tough to keep the tan carpet clean. I have an all tan interior in my BMW and it's a lot of work. But mostly I'm just a contrast kind of guy, which I suspect you may be as well or you'd have just left it all black...

Since the seats are back and the red car still at the panel beaters with the silver cars seats I decided to see what the silver car would look like with the champagne interior ........................ and I like, I like a lot!!

I planned on dyeing the rear seat but these look so good I think I'll just cover them in leather too.
