Default how to remove transaxle?

hello,

I am taking apart a 951S and I am now at the part where I lower the engine and transaxle to the ground and remove the chasis.

what bolts exactly are holding the transaxle and gearbox to the chasis?

it looks like this at the moment:

The tranmission cross member is missing in that picture. There are 4 bolts that bolt the transmission cross member to the body of the car.

You do not need to remove the bolts with a question mark unless you are removing the entire drivetrain as a whole assembly.

There are 4 bolts that attach the tranny to the body, and at least 4 that connect it to the torque tube. Other than those you need to remove the axles and CVs, 6 bolts each side. and then there is a collar that connects the input shaft of the tranny to the driveshaft, which can be loosened through one of the holes in the tranny bellhousing.

you can pull the four trans crossmember bolts which also holds the fuel filter- or you can pull the two bolts that hold the trans to the upper mount. Other than that your looking good. The ones w/ the question marks hold the brake lines- youll need to cut/disconnect the lines.
