I'll be getting my car aligned tomorrow so I don't die when I start taking those turns, my front tires are still shot though as I don't have the extra funds to drop on a new front set last minute. Arash, of course if your dad wants to donate a pair those Sumitomo's that you have sitting in your garage I'd be happy to put some miles on them until I have the money for some decent tires

Jason, sorry but we sold the 2 front sumitomos. We have 1 rear remaining and I keep forgetting to repost it on craigslist. If you ever need it let me know. If you're going to run shot tires, all I can say is be careful. I have like 3 extra sets of wheels, you can borrow a pair of fronts for the run if you want. I have early Fuchs with Michelin Pilots, boxster twists (like yours) with mismatched but healthy tires, and I have the 968 wheels with nothing left but sidewall and mesh.

Roger, you beat me once in GT4. I beat you like 7 times.

Bill, I won't be anywhere near livermore or danville. If you end up at Roger's house after the run, I can give you a ride home though. The run should take between 3 and 4 hours. It depends on slow traffic, duration of stops, etc. I think just flat-out unhindered driving would get you through the route in less than 3 hours. I once did that with my 944. I won't do that tomorrow though, because when I drive like that, you'll need much more than turbo to keep up.

Dan, glad you chimed in. I hope you can make it!

All SF people: I doubt I will have the time to do the pre-run because of some last-minute crap, so if you want to caravan to SJ with me after noon PM me. I want to leave before 1pm and take 101S.

Roger: Yes, that's my car. I changed a few minor things after I took the pic, but that's generally how it looks from the front for now. Can't decide what exactly I'm going to do permanently like crash it or something retarded

I think my buddy Ryan might come with me in his NSX. If everything works out and I do meet up with you guys you are all welcome to end at my place for a carne asada BBQ. I will supply the meat, tortillas and water. Anything else you require you will need to bring. I might get the woman to whip up some chile if you guys are into that.

EDIT: Wifey says the chile is on and she has added rice and beans to the menu.

I have some 70% Dunlop SP9000 in 205/45-17 that you can have for $20.

I am also driving up to SFO in about 10 minutes (leaving at 11:00AM). I'll throw them in the car, and if you give me a call while I'm up in the area, we can arrange to meet. 408.674.5910.

So does anyone need to borrow walkie talkies here? I have 4 right now, the other I would have 20 available but I can't find the cables to program them with. I'll see how many more I can find before the end of tonight.

Sounds like a good run. Have fun and ya all be careful and hopefully I'll see you on the next one. I have to pick up the dog from the vet tomorrow and build a fence to keep him out of the pool for 10 days. I hear dogs sink when they remove their spark plugs but I may be wrong on that.

I was unable to get anyone to cover for me at work, so since I have to be there at 6 and the run isn't starting till 2 and takes 4hrs, I'm going to have to miss out. This sucks *****. You best be taking lots of pictures.
