First time I did mines I barely avoided a deer (it was in the middle of the night and I was in the 740) and my friend drove himself carsick in his e36 m3.

I've never done the southern roads, but if it looks like they are in bad condition I recomend starting in livermore and doing mines then del Puerto to I-5 and then roger's. That still takes two or so hours (at least?).

Arash, count me in. I'll probably be coming but the 25th is about 3 days after I get back from Vegas, I'll have to get the car aligned and buy it some new shoes in the meantime as well, but if I can talk my boss into getting me the day off I'm so there.

Those look like some mad twisties. I think you should edit the first post to maybe include a list of those attending and those on the fence.

Also, i'll look up some pics i took just so new people know what it's like.

A gif of a corner we stopped at

I took this last shot the day we went scouting for this run more than a year ago. I was in my last car, and was driving cliffside. Yes, i'm that good :P

Hey, I see my car in there! I think..

All red cars, nice.. I love how the blue one is out in the back like some sort of outcast.

Man, that does look like fun climbing Mt. Hamilton. Is the backside as steep? Perfect road for an NA where turbo schizophrenia is your worst enemy. Wish I could make it.

The backside is much less steep. However on both the front and back of the mountain there are dozens of hairpins. It's one of those roads you seem to have more fun if you take it easy and go not-so-fast... Like you said NA is way better there. Mines is the complete opposite.

Bill, you may have a good idea there. But mt Hamilton is kind of the focal point of the run. I'll use your's as a contingency plan.

No more posting pictures of my face. More importantly, no more posting pictures of the only blemish on my whole car (the whole in my door panel).

Sounds like I may just want to plan or borrowing Rogers NA then? (Assuming that is fine with Roger - I'll call or something to talk details)

Grrr! ETC pushed to this Tuesday. The part didn't get in at the dealer. Still earlier than some peoples' cars though, so i'm not worried.

I will be in NYC that weekend.

Steve, Please keep me informed of your runs this fall.
And Brad too, I saw a turbo on CR for sale in Santa Rosa and I thought it was Brad's.

well believe it or not it looks like I wont be making the run. I signed up as a soccer coach for my daughters team a few months back and I just learned the team pictures are the day of the run, Friggin sucks. Well if you guys start later I might be able to meet up at Mines.
