I'll see what I can do. Ever since I got this car she's been obsessed with it and has been begging for rides. It's super annoying.... She asked me if she could drive it too There's no way in hell anyone but me gets behind that steering wheel.

I saw a post in the 928 forum where some 911 snob called his 928 a **** Camaro. I'd say the 928 is more Camaroish than the 944.

 

having owned a 1LE '90 Iroc Z, that car was a hot steamy flamin' pile of do-do crap. No comparison really when it comes to build quality. Look at any GM vehicle of the era really, other than the occasionally clean C4 Corvette, where are they now?

 

Could barely get to page 3 of this thread before dying.. lol. When trying to get an alignment on the cheap a tech at SEARS tried to convince me I "needed a new steering rack". I've been asked if I had a "cold air intake" .... apparently ricers like to hang out at In N' Out

On the other end, I've had some pretty cool comments. One day I had the car in my day's driveway and a young mother walked by with a little kid. I heard her explain to the boy that the red car was a Porsche too. I know there was a black 930 nearby so i am guessing they were the owners.

I also had a VP at work complement the car and ask more about it. She took a real interest and I half jokingly asked if she wanted to take it for a sprin. Her response was no, because it would probably remind her of her old race prepped 240z and she was too old for such things.
