You don't want to see the girl I took for a ride. I only gave her a ride so she'd shut up and leave me alone...
Yes.

I did. I can't afford to run two cars AND a woman. Although she did offer certain" services" afterwards ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Edit- I had my first "it's not a Porsche" argument today! I used the "go home and get your 911" comeback I saw earlier in this thread and that shut them up.

No, I disagree with "he'd earn that moment" because he wouldn't earn anything by using the false statement that a 944 isn't a real Porsche. If you want to give him the moment, that's up to you.

This is a direct copy/paste from a guy who commented on a post I made about the 951...

Really? I think it's a disgrace to the Porsche family. I think they shouldn't allow them on Porsche trackdays because they fall apart on the track and REAL Porsches (911's) hit the pieces and cause damage. I think that the styling is bad and the car overall is very ugly. I would never buy one.

The commenter was some random reddit user.
My reply:
EDIT: Just realized you edited your post haha
My reply:
That's just like... your opinion, man.
The 924 was the one that wasn't really a true Porsche. The 944 at least had the Porsche M44 2.5 in it. It's based on the 924, but then again, let's remember that the 911 is based on the VW Beetle.

Hey, 924's are Porsches too IMHO. Make great stripped track cars, and hardly ever break once everything is brought into working condition. I'm finding the same with mine.
Flog it mercilessly around the track, constantly full throttle / full brake. After it cools down, I drive it home with the tunes cranked and the AC on. Nice. Now it's also a trailer hauler for tires & tools, and it takes to that great just as well.
Not a Porsche? My right ********!
