Car is all back together, retensioning timing belt in the AM and then I'm good to go. Should be there around 5-6am Friday morning or late thursday night (aroud 11-midnight) Dan will I be able to get in to the track and set up a tent that late or should I just delay and make sure I'm there early friday?

Talk about down to the wire!

Rolling in late Thurs should be fine. The track was asking when we needed the gate open and I told them from 2 or 3 on Thursday all the way thru noon Sunday. As much as I'd like to imagine I'll be asleep midnight Thurs, I know better. Glad to hear you got it buttoned up!

Buttoned up, yep, but the stickers from the rally are still all over it. I'm probably just gonna show up with a dirty stickered up car, oh well. I doubt it'll see much street duty after it's caged anyway. See you thursday then probably

Timm, I was planning on going out 90 and then heading south towards Pittsburg and cutting in to Nelson if you wanted to meet up.

ATTENTION ALL 944Fest Guests!

We've lost a couple of key contributors this year, Wade and Michelle. These two in the past made heaping helpings of jello shots and generously brought them to share with the crowd. If ANYONE has a good recipie and wants to bring something to contribute, this would be a GREAT way to help out and pitch in. If $$ is a problem, hit me up and I'll give you a $20 toward yout liquor bill.

TIA

I should be thundering into nelson around 7:30 or so on Thurs. night. Jello shots sound good. As long as i am being a complete heathen, i may bring some stogies too. They keep away mosquitos and most women too.

Bug spray! Don't forget that. You are all going to want to be ready for that. Someone told me they can get a tad fiesty this time of year. Something about all the tire walls being breeding ground.

Also, NOBODY is allowed to stuff their Porsche into a tire wall, you may disturb the protected mosquitos' breeding grounds!!

I'm bringing 5 red-neck bug zappers. They look like little tennis racquets. They pack a wallop too! Don't ask how I know. The zapping sound and sparks make them as much fun as keeping the bugs away.

$10 will get you your own zapper and 2 alkaline D-cells. A bargain at half the price... I mean twice the price!
