Lightbulb IceShark Window Decals -- Can we do this???

Hey everyone, i was thinking...

Just like those PCA window decals. (the static ones, i think thats what they are called)

I think we really need to make something like that. Especially for anyone who uses one of this products. I know personally ide really like to have an IceSahrk badge on my car from now on.

I'de be willing to help with whatever I can to see this materializes. They could go for a couple bucks and all the proceeds go towards Dan or any founddation thats set up for that, or if there was a charity in association with this somehow, etc...

I know i'm good with photoshop, and we also have a few others here that are quite skilled. A few of us are also used to doing pro print work, so i can't imagine there would be a problem designing this.

Any ideas, or support for this idea?

I would too. There are specified charities in his obit for donations. www.coral.org or Lake Harriet Christian Church.

Well then!

The PCA static cling stickers go for like $2 I think. For all Dan did for us and everything he contributed I think this more than calls for us giving a little back to something that meant a lot to him.

I'm more than willing to take charge of this and make it happen. I will drop John D. an email to work this out.

PLEASE - let's do this. I think we owe it to him.

I don't have a lot of money, but will give in any way I can. Please let me know what I can do to help make this happen.

Let's not worry about money right now. Lets focus on making this happen. I have some ideas that might help make this available to even people who find $2 dollars to be a lot.

I have a place down here that can make them. Get a design made up and I can get a quote. I would be willing to take care of shipping them out as well if need be.

I think something simple and tasteful would be a fitting tribute to Dan. I still owed him a six of a local microbrew as a thank you gesture and feel like crap since he wont be able to enjoy it. His wiring harness was the best thing I ever did to my car.

Tony, thanks for thinking of this. I'm sure there is plenty of talent around here to make a great design that Dan would have liked.

Ok, i drew up the preliminary design. It just happens the actual file saved at ... 944 kb .

I am going to post up the initial design. Again, it's simple as described in the above posts. Does anyone have any suggestions for improving it? If someone wants to modify, I can provide my PSD working files.

Draft 1...shrunk in quality to show on web. Also, where you see the white around the circle badge, that would be clear. Any adjustments?
