I think there needs a little adjustment colorwise, or... i don't know. Something is missing I think.
I did this mockup for fun. Here is an idea what we are working with, and what kind of decal we are talking about for people that are unfamiliar with them. Basically a thin clear vinyl with the design imprinted. Sticks to the INSIDE of the glass and it removeable, reuseable, etc... No residue, to special application. Just peel and stick. It removes just as easy and reapplies later. Its not a sticker.

The shark idea was neat. I am concerned a design like that will not shrink well or be well read at 2.25 inches though. Maybe a modification of it though? We are open to other suggestions as well. We are all together in this.

Did Dan have a favourite saying or quip associated with electricity, lighting, or the like that might be on the sticker... sort of a way to remember him... you know what I mean...!

Count me in on this. Dan was one of the nicest and even-keeled listers in my opinion and I think this is a nice memorial to him. I just wish I had had the honor to meet him in person.
