Here is another draft of my first idea. It's going more in the direction I originally. Some of the text is a bit off, etc... but that would get adjusted later.
I'm thinking along the bottom it would have a nice quote talking about light somehow or something like that. And maybe adjust the lens to look a little more...something. Haven't gotten it yet.
Opinions?
(oh yeah, and it would be just the badge, not the white square around it!)

Maybe something like this. I threw it on there so we could get a visual idea. The quote can change to whatever is decided works best if we went with this format.

How about just write what Dan did - he lit our way! Instead of "you gave us light" have it read "You light our way." Simple, classy, with of course the double meaning of his contributions in both products, knowledge, and person.
I'm in for whatever.

To all: don't know if this will be needed or not, but I just thought of something. I have a family member here in Atlanta who owns a label printing business. She might be able to do something like this for us as well - I'm not sure.
I believe Travis was going to get a quote on this once a final draft was made. If you want me to ask my relative if she can help us out, please let me know. Food for thought...

Well, its basically going to be a 2.25x2.25" square vinyl static cling window sticker. The file will be provided to spec so no additional graphic work should be needed. Color can be provided as a 4 color process or 3 color, whatever the printer prefers. As for numbers, it would be convenient to get the price levels instead of a definite number quote.

I'll call her tomorrow. Her company does label printing for a lot of large businesses around Atlanta, so she's not a small outfit, but just not sure if this is something they can do.

I hate stickers & such, on my car, but, would be proud to display this... Please put me down for several of them, whichever style you decide to go with... I really like everything that has been displayed... the shark jaws & the circular decals... Doesn't much matter to me.... I'll put one on any 944 I ever own... Just make sure you let me know...

Another Idea
How bout this idea...have a porsche badge, instead of the word "PORSCHE" at the top of the crest have Dan's name...a shark in the middle where the horse normally is, and below the badge, instead of "THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE" have "IN MEMORY OF DANIEL WRAY...HE LIT OUR WAY 1956 - 2005"
