I'll be there.

How about let's get a couple of threads started for caravaning from each region.

Yea, sorry about that. I'm making some changes this year that might take care of that, including letting you, the guests, do the voting. I did formally apologize to Jason, his immaculate 924S would have been a strong contender had it been present when I made my judging "walk". My bad for not posting when the judging was. The turbos always seem to have so much work put in to them transforming them into supercars.

This year I'll have to divvy up some categories, and assign the cars to a class so the crowd knows which prize they are eligible for. It all will depend on how many of each show up. How rewarding is it to win the 968 class when you've got the only one there? Maybe I'll do a pre 85.5 class, or even an n/a class.. but then you will be against 968s and that is probably worse than competing with the Turbos! I'll try to make it fair, and remember, past champions are not eligible for prizes so once all the turbos get trophies I'll HAVE to start rewarding NA's!!

Also, I plan to delegate some duties to co-hosts. It would help me tremendiously if someone else handled the vote/categories/tabulation, another did the dyno shootout scorekeeping and MC'ing, another oversaw food, etc. This is just too huge for just me to do. Brian Schmidt, a local, is going to do the cruise and I've got plans for the other helpers.. But handing this off is another way I'm fixing those problems!

Can't wait!

Also, another sugesstion, how about some 944 fest 05 stickers, with something that can be added on as the years go by, sort of to show anyone that you had been to all the fests etc. I dunno, just thinking....

I've got it on the calender now, so i'll def. be there, got a few others to bring along from the louisville area this year too

I kinda like this idea, as long as it would remain small/side windowish...

It could be something similar to the dash plaques that are handed out at road rallies with the English car crowd. They're about 1x3 in with the event, date and some other stuff on them.

LOL
Harry's 912 is cooler than your 914 though
But even better, is my 951 is watercooler than either of yours!!
I got $5 on the '14.
I'd love to have a sticker for the 944 fest years - similar in size maybe to the rennlist stickers everyone has in the 1/4 windows.

now THAT would actually be a good race

in an auto-x you would have the advantage because of weight distribution.. but it would be close (car to car that is). however, you are definitly a better driver than i, so no matter what kind of race we have, you would indeed have the edge. but it would still be a good race, and would be fun to see evenly matched cars go head to head.

tell you what, soon as i get my motor broken in (and yours as well if its not broken in yet), we've gotta try this. heck even do a driver swap
