Well since I just found out my start date has changed, attending the 2005 'Fest is now a possibility.
Which means this thread, clearly needs a bump.

Party on Wayne.

In case it hasn't been mentioned yet, (I haven't read every post in this thread) - that weekend is "AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days" at Mid-Ohio. The featured marque is Ducati. Paddock passes and grandstand seating is FREE (my favorite price)!

The Mid-Ohio flyer advertises "AHRMA road racing, vintage motocross, and observed trials".

Might be worth taking a couple hours out from the 944 festivities and see a little of the two-wheel world in action.

BLASPHEMY!!! I ought to have this post deleted and Scott given a suspension if not an all out BANNING! How DARE YOU!

OK, Just kidding. IF someone wanted to check out donorcyclefest, Friday and before noon Saturday would be a great time to do it. If I wasn't busy already, I'd love to check it out. Those guys are the ones who booked up all the nice lodging in the area.

Just in case there are any other "donorcyclists" like myself headed to the fest, one of the best attractions for the vintage bike weekend at Mid-Ohio is the swap meet. Last year there were over 1K vendors and it took the better part of a day just to check out the stuff. And yes, my car will be running and at the fest.

John, Jeoff, great news! Who is Xagafinelle? I got another note from a 'non-lister' who will be there from the Toledo area in an 89 S2, in GLACIER BLUE! Yep! Glacier Girl's sister is coming! For the first time ever, 944fest will have 2 glacier cars present.

John, I'm guessing then you will be at the swap meet Friday, if you want to, swing by the event site Friday eve, we should be setting up. It is starting to look like there may be a pre-fest fest, I don't have a site except a few motel rooms.
