Default need a red 951 for ~ $2k

Someone wants to buy my na so now I need to move up to a 951.

I've got late offset turbo twists so I want a 87 or later, but doesn't matter.

I want a red one.

Let me know here or my email in my signature!

LOL...I want one too for that price!!! You'll be lucky to find one running for less than 4K.

LOL I wouldn't even want to see what kind of a basket case 951 that would be for $2k....
And if you only have 2K to spend, forget maintenance!

Actually, wait - I do know of a car that will probably fit the bill. In fact, its probably the nicest $2k 951 you'll ever see!

NICE $2k 951

You'll have to scroll down a bit to see the pics. And if you do get it, you'll have to do some buffing to get that out.

You missed out man. Aaron at Imagine Auto just sold his red 951 for 2.6k IIRC. It had went through two turbo's in the past year. Not in HORRIBLE shape, it drove. No boost, but definitely a project. So they aren't impossible to find, but that ones sold, so good luck!

It sold so cheap because the rotting J boot went through the turbo.

ok, I'm not talking about a perfect 951. I've seen PLENTY of 951's go for around $2k (~ means around)

over the years... it can even have some body damage since I learned to do body work with my NA.

In 10 seconds I found one for $5k
http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ca...r=&cardist=501

$4950
http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ca...=&cardist=2321

$4000
http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ca...=&cardist=1864

These don't have body damage so I was just asking if someone knew of something like this. A month ago there was a post about a guy who got a 951 (red) for $1300.

Also I can do all the work on the car myself. I don't have to pay a mechanic $300 to change the oil.

Yea, around 5k you can find, but 4-5k is nowhere near "somewhere around 2k"

Blue Book is absolutely useless in 944/951 pricing. Try the CPI Value guide or Excellence magazine market guide
