You are correct, they are HRE 501 Series. I just had one fail at the seam after installing new tires but was a pretty easy fix

color is Carmon red/Carmona red (depending on the year), a ~2006/2007 955/987/997 color. in bright light the car pops red, in shadow or gloomy skies it is rich burgundy.
