REQUEST TO TONE DOWN AVATARS!
#46
I think the majority of people on here have no problems with the avatars in question. Every now and then a thread like this comes up. You don't want to turn avatars off and then on again everyday? Then don't read Rennlist at work. Sorry but telling everybody else to change their stuff so you can read Rennlist AT WORK without getting in trouble is a little bit ridiculous. Telling everybody else to change their stuff to suit you better isn't fair.
Gonna have to agree with UDPride on this one. If John D. comes on here and tells people that it's inappropriate then they should change it. Until then, adjust your own settings for what you need and stop telling other people what to do.
Sorry I'm having a bad day...normally I wouldn't post in one of these threads. I'm not a liberal, either. But nothing that's been on here has been any worse than something you'll see on network TV at any hour of the day. Until it crosses that line I don't see a problem with it. The newspaper you bring into work probably has things just as bad on it.

I'm with Rich on this one why should anyone change their avatar so someone can use Rennlist at work without offending a female boss?
I think that in the past some avatars were quite offensive but women in bikinis is hardly offensive, if you don't like the avatars then just shut them off and thats the end of it.
I may not like little kids but I would never ask anyone to remove them from their avatar, instead of asking people to change , just shut the avatars off and quit the whining.
I'm sure if John D finds them offensive he will deal with them directly as he has in the past.

Hot girls and hot cars go hand to hand. We usually relate fast cars with fast chics
I think none of the avatars were out of hand, maybee because I'm a pretty young guy and I tend to look at that type of material But to force others to take it down is sort of selfish.
But what's wrong with a couple guys having girls as avatars? We're guys, this happens everywhere. Mechanics usually put swimsuit calenders in their shops even though woman come in out the shop. Nothing wrong with it as long as its not ****. Just disable the avatars. Takes a couple clicks. But for everyone to suffer is not right.

I guess this just goes to prove that Rennlist and Rennlisters can sink to the level of the worst riceboy forums.
