I ran by Roberto for awhile,

trebor_quitman was my original one though,
I don't know how it got lost, maybee in one of the server swaps John did.
I recently asked him to switch me back.

PS: did you ever get anywhere on that "del sol" hatch you had a Photo shop of, or was that someone else?

That was about 15 years ago when I had the invincibility complex though. Still, any speed on a bike can be fatal.
Yeah, that's what Suzuki did to "fix" the problem, they slapped on a damper. All the UK mags were shredding the TL because of that one problem. They loved the motor and fit, but the slaps made them leary. The US mags on the other hand were all to busy sucking up to the advertising dollar and kind of winked at the problem and called the Brits whiney when Suzi admitted a problem.

Oh yeah, I remember now, duh I feel like an idiot. And the server swap/program change was a bit of a bug too. I couldn't log on for a while.

The del sol hatch wasn't me.

Wow! Only at 0 RPM too! If you take that baby to redline, you should be pushing over 400mph! You'll need NAAAAWWWWS though.

hey trebor!!

Glad you finally responded man. I wasent really serious with you. I am sorry if I offended you in any way. I was banking on it was prolly a kit car of some sort. I figured you had done some kind of swap after I posted it but, then I just figured well, if it's a fake you won't say anything, or be really defensive about it. How do you like the convertion??? Sounds like a very costly venture indeed. Oh, about the gt40 yeah I pretty much thought that was forsure b.s but, hey you never know these day's. I honestly thought you just put that stuff up there for a laugh(as it seems you have) Once again I am sorry if I got to you. I wasent trying to be mean I just wanted a few answer's, since there was obviously something up.

This thread is really getting crazy. We hit my goal off 22 pages. This is now the longest thread on the forum. Is that right John D.??? I think it is. Anyways take care and, I hope to continue the fun thread what's wrong with going for 30 pages??

sincerely,

No prob,

I just felt I was getting a troll or clasic AMAF treatment without a chance to defend. Most Trolls make ***** out of themselves with little assistance.

The '68 conversion was worth it. I might have spent less by other means, but I have something unique and I learned allot about cars with the route I took. I did the upgrades right in my opinion. Brakes, and suspension, THEN the HP after the car could support it. Unfortunatley I just got the big reds to stop her even faster, and since I'm addicted to the go fast crack pipe, I'll be blowing money in attempts to ounce again up the ante with even more HP. I hear 5-600 horse is possible with all the proper mod$. I'm sure I'll land way short of that mark, but I fear my future will be a never ending cycle of upgrade$ in persuit.

You see that is the problem, you need a European to understand style. He has cleverly integrated the look of the classic Stingray with its modern equivalent making a perfect retro-modern blend in homage to the cars routes but maintaining the future classic elements of the current car.

Acctualy, you are right. The current car has no redeeming features at all. That is one ugly Vette!

I've got very tall gearing.

I'm working on a NAWS setup similar to my 944's, but haven't perfected it yet. As of right now, the NAWS bottle blocks too much of the driver's view.

Silly Germans and their rear-mounted engines...

You may be refering to a project that Thaddeus had been working on, AFAIK nothing ever came of it.

Mint Chocolate Chip, makes a great minty shakes with a pile of chocolate at the bottom!
