Default OK, Brad @ AA, Listen up!

Here's a chance to put me back in the AA fold. I just got screwed by another supplier, name will be withheld for now. I'm seriously pissed off, so I won't write about my recent experience until the blood is no longer on boil.

I need, for a '74 1.8 liter;

2x injectors; rebuilt or new
2x 022 129 707 F intake manifold to head gasket/spacer blocks

Let me know what you can do (price/availability) for me.
Thanks, Pete

http://www.autoatlanta.com/detail.ph...7456&user=Brad Fuel injectors are 47 dollars each with a 50 dollar core charge. Original Bosch rebuilt with Bosch seals. Unfortunately, because these are so time consuming, we have to pay the techs to rebuild them, so I can't do anything better on this price.

The intake blocks are listed at 12 something each, but I can do 9 dollars a piece for them.

Let me know what else you need!

$47 ea. is OK. If you can make it "3" injectors, please do it. (PLEASE be sure they are the "1.8" liter type!)
$9 ea. is OK for the manifold spacers/gaskets.
Core charge is acceptable.

When can they ship? You should have my CC & address on file.

Let me know, and while you're putting the order together, please include two jack hole deco plugs. Thanks.

I will personally pick it and ship it tomorrow. I will let you know if we run into any issues (immediate availability). Why only 3 injectors?

I bought one from AA last fall before I knew how extensive my car's problems are. The injector that I already replaced had internal rust, and the external plastic tip was gone. Now I have one original that's not firing, and two that are leaving a strange color pattern on their spark plugs. I'm hoping three injectors puts this project on the street!

Everything is going to plan. I will e-mail you the order number as soon as I arrive in the morning. The injectors are being drop shipped directly from the rebuilder, and everything else was on our shelves. Should have gone out with FedEx today, but I will check for the tracking number in the morning to be sure.

Peter, did you check & see if a local shop can rebuild your in injectors???
Turns out some of the big truck shops rebuild turbos, pumps & injectors, and is where former PCA 930 Gu-Ru Doc learned his trade..

Nothing yet (4/10/11), Matt; still waiting for a tracking number. But Brad has been in touch with me via e-mail. I actually expected my order to ship on 4/8, but...

I had no idea, but thanks for the tip. If my recent AA order doesn't come together I'll poke around in the yellow pages.

Come on Brad...A perfect opportunity for AA to get it right.
Put your hands on the parts, pull them and fedex them first thing in the morning(4/11).

They have already been sent, I made sure of it on Friday. I did forget to e-mail Peter his tracking number because I didn't get it in my inbox until late on Friday. I will have a tracking number for Pete early tomorrow.

(Sorry, busy weekend, I was at the track all weekend at the beautiful Barber Motorsports Park)
