Whale; one heckuva bit of sleuthing! Unfortunately my primary wholesaler has that number on its "deleted" list. Thanks for trying!

BRAD; any news regarding the three injectors yet???

A few mouseclicks really. If my source didn't list them as NA you wouldn't have started this thread.

Maybe? if so, my Bosch number isn't a "Bosch" number.

Again, I'm sorry this is sucking for you Peter, but this is typical AA, even when someone "Is personally picking the items and shipping them."

You're better than me for giving them a second chance.

Unfortunately, with a drop ship, I don't get the luxury of putting my hands on them and personally shipping them. They are coming from a firm in California, who assured me that they would be there, but I have yet to get any tracking information. It kinda sucks.

I just called them for the fourth or fifth time, and they ASSURED me that the injectors were shipping today. The exact quote from the guy on the phone "she just boxed it up". I gave him my personal e-mail for the tracking number (day or night), and I will forward it to you, and probably post it here when I get it.

Thanks,

Brad

My experience with AA netted me previously opened parts packaging with missing items, late shipping and random pricing when billed. Unfortunately I had my mother order the stuff for my father's car as a gift, not a pleasant experience for her at all. Never again.

Tough crowd here Brad. I doubt any past AA problems fall on your shoulders directly.

Eh, I have a thick skin. I have been here for nearly two years, I am used to it by now. Porsche owners can be real ******...

I have a rule that I live by called the 40/60 rule. "20% of people will hate you no matter what you do. 20% of people will love you no matter what you do. It's the 60% of people who are indifferent that you have to worry about."

Well. Many here seem to be in the 20%...the one without smiles and kisses. Good luck.

Thanks, mate! LOL.

It's all good, I like to think that we are all adults and that everyone here is just and enthusiast. I am trying to help the enthusiast, because I am one! There are very few people in the world that know more about Porsche than I do.

Nice. A knowledgable parts guy is worth a LOT to any enthusiast. Couple that with iron clad service and your golden. AA had fallen out of favor with many enthusiast for reasons beyond your control I'm sure. Rebuilding trust is going to take a lot of work but sponsering this forum and addressing each of these posts is a good way, maybe the best way, to heal the wounds.
Again, I want AA to be there for the market. I quit using you guys over a decade ago, sorry. When it comes time, I would be inclined to give you a shot at my business if I knew I could talk to Brad, get my parts, and further my enthusiasm. Please, go that extra mile and give us all a sound choice for parts.
BTW, I am looking for a motor for my 924S; any 2.5(44/7) would do as long as it is a verified unit(a higher compression 88 varient would be ****). I'm in no hury.

1. Thanks, I am glad that my efforts have not gone unnoticed (Everyone tell George that you are glad I am here...LOL!)

2. I don't hold it against you personally. I know that we have screwed up in the past and that it's going to take a while.

3. Thank you!
