Yes, Got it on the rottisary at the moment and taking the final bits off before being seam welded and cutting off the roof and rear quarter panels ready for the carbon bits. Still waiting for all the carbon panels and half cage to be delivered which is the hold up. Its booked to be acid dipped in March. These are all the big time consuming things, once its back and painted we'll really get moving.

RSR suspension going in, also everything that is not essential is coming off, all the old aircon crap etc. Doing all the drop links and sway bars, camber plates etc too. Crap pics but thought i may as well post them, more to follow

The 930 lump is currently being rebuilt, it will have everything refreshed internally as it is totally stripped, all the bearings, chains etc as you'd expect. The top end was done only 13,000 miles before so no problems there. It'll be ready for the limit of what CIS can deliver. If anyone is interested in buying it (it would only be a good idea for someone in the UK i would think), then PM me for the full specs, it has everything from headers and fabspeed muffler to modified fuel head, from ARP raceware studs and bolts to 964 cams, 965 intercooler to ported cylinder heads etc etc.
I played with the idea of sticking it in a beetle but was talked out of it

Suspension looks good!!!,should help you control all that power a bit better!!
Your old engine will be a good purchase for someone, got to be a few worn 930 engines here in the UK that would benefit from fitting your fresh rebuilt one with all the right mods and headstuds fitted etc.
I will certainly recommend yours if i hear of anyone in need of an engine!

Cheers Stu, i'm hoping the car will handle a lot better, at the very least it should help with the squating.
Hi Jim, winters are grim here mate as you can imagine, it wouldn't be so bad if it snowed but it just rains, and rains, misserable! Would be nice to be sat around your pool again soaking up some sunshine! Sparky is fine, still wearing me out but that's what you get for going for younger women, she says hi too. Hope you and the family are well, speak soon

Glad to hear of your "problems" with younger women Jonathan ;-) The pool is open, anytime you can get the funds, tickets and time jump on over. The 12 Hours of Sebring is March 18 - 21. The new suspension will make a big difference in the car's handling. It'll be a lot smoother and feel more controlled over the rough bits than the OEM set-up. Always feels like I'm just skipping over a washboarded section of pavement on the torsion bar set-up.

Suspension is finished, car handles SO much better, chuffed to bits with it. Pics will follow, they took some as it was going together but haven't sent them over yet.
Driving it down to Switzerland in the morning, getting some snowboarding in before all the snow melts. Not done the trip in the Pork before, stuck a roof box on it, not sure how this will go when pressing on down the motor-ways, it isn't a good look is it![hiha](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/roflmao.gif)

Hey Jonathan, I think there might be better aero devices you can add other than that huge "wing" over the roof! ;-) You and Sparky have a great holiday in Switzerland buddy.

Thought i'd fire up some of the pics, we went with a "through chassis" front sway bar, not straight forward i'm told, i think the actual words were "what a f*&king pain in the ****", looks good though, and the car handles much better. I think it's a little soft on the back, on the trip down to Verbier i noticed it was a little bouncy when really pressing on, you know the lumps you get in the motorway when there is a bridge, anyway, it could do with being a bit stiffer but it's ok for now, managed 167mph with the roof box before i started to worry, probably a bit irresponsible but lots of fun.
I have a VMax event this weekend so i'll get some good data from that, not sure i'll go through the timing beams flat out as the braking zone isn't very long and it ends with a large bank![EEK!](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)

looks good job at the front end there!
Am sure you could have done bit more than that speed with the roof box on,why did you hold back??.lol
Not the most aero dynamic cars to start with never mind with that big box on top!

Did Vmax event today, had a great day with the car and it performed great. I only did 5 runs, three with a passenger and two solo. I could have pushed harder, come out of the bottom turn onto the main long straight at a quicker pace, and also redlined every gear to go through the beams quicker, but even without going nuts, and with a full tank of fuel i still managed 187.4mph. With not a lot of effort it should break into the 190's!
I'm happy with it, the car felt solid, held a nice straight line, steering didn't go light, it stayed down around 1.05 bar, it was really good to get some confidence back in the thing, put a smile on my face!
I didn't do well with video i'm afraid, this was the only one i took, it's our first run and we only hit 183mph, but you can see the car is straight as an arrow

SLOWLY moving forward, finally found some wheels, brakes next, 600lb springs in the rear as it's too soft, then onto lightening the interior, it all takes time ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Bought the plate WAS 930 as i thought it was apt, yet to get the documentaion through
