The official weight of the Orange T is 1015kg, or 2238 lbs.
No gas
No spare or tools,
Full interior,
Full screen washer bottle,
Plastic front bumper - steel one not yet fitted.
Rest of body is all steel.
Deep 6 original Fuchs with 195-65 tyres.
I'm pretty happy with that, and if it is churning out the proper 231 BHP makes it technically the fastest Porsche I've had including 993 varioram and 964.

Metric car. Adjustable Spring plates with imperial set screw. I've never owned an American or Brittish car before so no such tools in the shed.
Also found the cause of a knock in the rear - keeps spitting out the sway bar bush.

Going for 10mm lower. No problems with rubbing at the track with 205-50's on 7" rims so these should be fine running lower than that

^^^yes, we do things a bit lop sided down underneath the planet sometimes.....

So I went for 20mm lower in the end and all seems just fine on the 195-65 balloon tyres. I could not run this low on the track wheels and tyres though.

Thanks, lowering is the one modification I have done to the car that IMO enhances it visually most.
I am probably alone here in preferring well tucked and cambered skinny wheels and tyres on a lowered chassis.

Low is the way to go. This is my Dad's 75 911S that I restored for him a few years ago. Looks a lot better lowered!

Hi GT3DE, I agree. I'm a big fan of NB impact bumper cars that are sitting right. I would love to do one of those one day and drop a 3.2 in it. The ultimate unexpected Q car.

Ok Maxem....I am in love with your arm rests. Any chance you could make me a pair, assuming we can agree on price? I could do the clean up on the welds to save you some time and effort. And where did you find that sample of signal orange paint on the piece of steel? I've been scouring the web for someone who can send me one.

And I've settled on the leather and fabric combination for my project. I am doing plaid inserts on '81-'84 sport seats.

Nice combo there on the interior.
I had the armrests made to my design. It cost quite a bit in the end. I outsourced the work because I couldn't do the folding with my tool set and my Aluminium welding is not up to scratch for that sort of work. What I could do is email you the solid works file if you PM me your address. Any laser cutting and fabrication shop over there will be able to make them up at most likely a better rate than I managed. I went to a high end shop that I know for lack of time to shop around for better rates.
