well as for me, I bought a second AFM from an '86. This one has the internal voltage regulator, so it processes I think 5 volts +/-. I did a late night run last night and found it fluctuates faster than my '84 and flaps between .97 and 1.03 lambda. At WOT it starts at 13.8 and as rpms rise it stops at 13.4.
I am going to re-install my cat when I have time and then take it in to hopefully pass smog.
