yeah and believe me minimal heat distribution in the winter too ..
Well I won't be winter driving this one, even though the heat situation is excellent... those airplane levers deploy plenty of heat. This car will be garaged first snow till the rain washes off all the salt from the very last snow.
You're in Chicago? I'd love to meet up sometime! I'm in Valparaiso Indiana but in Chicago once or twice a week with my SC. I haven't met that many other aircooled owners around here.
Yes, but not the same as the original. You can see the reproductions at Design Within Reach. It's a sickness though. Once you have one piece..........
True in some cases, but not all. I have a new production George Nelson Thin Edge bedroom set, the quality is definitely lacking when compared to original manufacture. I also have some Florence Knoll Studio pieces, they are every bit as nice, if not exceedingly so, when compared to the originals.

My daughter graduated from VALPO last year. You guys have a great little town. I'm very glad she went there as opposed to a west coast school.

You will find there are quite a few places where less costs more, as with the design aesthetic mentioned earlier in this thread.
To the OP, you have a very nice SC. Seventy thousand is a truckload of money for an SC, but in the end it's your decision.
Thanks for sharing the pics of your car. Very cool 911. Money comes and goes, 37000 mile 911's with some of your very nice features are hard to find. Enjoy your 911 and hope for a short winter.
