Thanks! I feel a lot of minimalism is tied to these classic 911's .. simple, honest, and to the point.

When you have the perfect machine, I can understand why you wouldn't want to start the search all over. I totally dig the NSR.

Well I won't be winter driving this one, even though the heat situation is excellent... those airplane levers deploy plenty of heat. This car will be garaged first snow till the rain washes off all the salt from the very last snow.

You're in Chicago? I'd love to meet up sometime! I'm in Valparaiso Indiana but in Chicago once or twice a week with my SC. I haven't met that many other aircooled owners around here.

It funny that Porsche is one of the few places in life where less costs more.

True in some cases, but not all. I have a new production George Nelson Thin Edge bedroom set, the quality is definitely lacking when compared to original manufacture. I also have some Florence Knoll Studio pieces, they are every bit as nice, if not exceedingly so, when compared to the originals.

My daughter graduated from VALPO last year. You guys have a great little town. I'm very glad she went there as opposed to a west coast school.

You will find there are quite a few places where less costs more, as with the design aesthetic mentioned earlier in this thread.

To the OP, you have a very nice SC. Seventy thousand is a truckload of money for an SC, but in the end it's your decision.

Thanks for sharing the pics of your car. Very cool 911. Money comes and goes, 37000 mile 911's with some of your very nice features are hard to find. Enjoy your 911 and hope for a short winter.

Is this not a standard option?? I have these too, and I'm just wondering...

Anyone know how the value of an SC compares to a similar condition G50?
