The front end of the SRS is not lower than the gt spyder. At least nothing I have seen indicates this.

I don't know where I read / heard this. Perhaps I'm mistaken. If so, that's a good thing. I bet I'll still scuff it with the front lift system installed due to not remembering to use it. What we need is an app based geo-fencing solution for this. Get it to automatically turn on when in your neighborhood

The gt3 version of FAL has the "geo-fencing" feature. Does the 4rs/srs version not have that?

Nope. Its just another gimmick for the entitlement/lazy generation anyway.

Had it on my 992 GT3T. Never really used it. I didn’t think about it when I ordered my GT4 RS.

I think the geo fencing is a 992 thing and I believe 4RS / SRS get 991.2 fal?

Dont quote me on that though

Hopefully it is the hydraulic one from 991.2 RS and not the Pneumatic one from 991.2 GT3.

I’m fairly certain the FAL in the GT4RS and the SRS is the hydraulic unit first seen in the 991.2 RS, that is more reliable and weighs half as much as the previous pneumatic FAL.

Correct. 8lbs vs 16lbs and much much more reliable. My 4RS has FAL and would never consider buying one without it.

nice.

I’ve debated the FAL for my incoming Spyder RS, because the SRS doesn’t have all the fancy air vanes on the bottom of the car like the 4RS. So more space underneath an SRS vs a 4RS.

SRS is still a fairly low car though.

Anyone swapping the tires to 4S on day one? Assuming the US deliveries of SRS will ship with Cup 2 tires. Wondering if 4S will serve me better during early spring and late fall on the backroads. I have Cup 2s on my F80. During the summer it's fine, but chillier months, it makes me nervous. Not because of any temp related handling but just knowing what they are it psyches me out from time to time.

I’ll be swapping over 99% convinced. Have PS4S on another car and they’re fantastic during colder temps compared to the set of R888Rs I used to run. Never had Cup 2s but I imagine they’re a bit overkill for a street car that will still be used on chilly days as the Toyos were.
