Lord knows I have a white-car addiction. Currently 3, and 4 previous to current 3, so 7 total cars. But I just can't handle a white car with full carbon hood, especially with those black vents everywhere. No offense, but not even the partially painted white one grabs me. My GR SRS will be my second red car. So far, I am happy and sure of my decision.
Need more GR SRS videos!!

ill make a vid in may to hold you over. But i suspect this is going to be my favorite car. My gt4rs was my favorite porsche and i had 6 992s. I also have an 812 superfast and m3cs. Srs is going to be epic
Scoring 6 different 992 during the supply shortage sure is impressive.
I scored one 4RS through the last 3 years and was happy enough with just that. Probably why I will keep it as it was so difficult to obtain no matter how good the SRS is going to be. But this is going to be my 2 car garage for hopefully many years to come.

cant lose. Its a great plan
i had an ordered touring pdk, turbo s cab pts, the rest i got used (manual 992 touring, couple other turbo s and a c4s cab which i had in the beginning). I never gel’ed with the 992 as much as i did with the 718 but thats a long story
Okay people who have taken delivery...any comments on the necessity of front axle lift? I guess this is mostly a question to those that DIDN'T get it, and had a spyder before. Is it any more necessary than it was on the gt spyder? I am sure everyone who ordered it is absolutely convinced of its importance...but then have no impressions of how problematic it would be if they hadn't ordered it.
Would love some real life feedback on this.
The question boils down to: Is there anyone who DIDN'T order it that, now that they have driven the car, wishes they had? (and who has experience with the regular spyder for context / reference) I remain unconvinced it is required.

I don't think it's a requirement for most people but it sure would be nice to have. I wish my Spyder had it, even though I haven't found that I "need" it. I mean, why not, unless your priority is weight? It sure ain't a money thing.

Call me nuts, but yes, a weight thing, and "another thing to break" thing. I plan to get the lightweight battery, and maybe eventually a Ti exhaust. Might be silly, and probably a resale strike against the car, but order the car for you, not the next guy, right? So far, I have gotten by with my gt spyder mostly without incident. Mostly.
Personally I don't get the fascination around weight. This is a street car and you aren't winning by having the lighter car, that's for sure. If you can notice the difference in weight having no lift and the base headlights I would be surprised. That said, some people need the lift, some people don't. Depends on where you are driving. I wouldn't get one without it, but I've been to plenty of gas stations, driveways, etc. that I have needed it in my 991.1 GT3. And even with it there have been spots I have not been able to pull in and out of. Personally I would always get it.

I tend to agree, unless we are talking about 100 lbs+, the exception being unsprung weight. Having moved to APEX wheels on my GT4 (which is a bigger delta than moving to APEX on the 4RS), I do notice a difference, mostly on the vertical axis on the suspension.

I've orderd the front lift system on my SRS. For me, it's a real need. My 718 Spyder has some front spoiler scuff (under the spoiler) from forgetting to slow down, and turn into the driveway at an angle. The most difficult part: getting this thing on the lift. Because my lift is a standard parking / roll-on ramp, the ramp itself is too short and steep for a car like this. The front will not clear without a ramp extension (long ones). https://www.raceramps.com/trailer-ra...igh/p/rr-tr-7/
Using these ramps, It just barely clears it. Since the SRS front-end is supposed to be lower, without the front lift system, I'm looking at a 10ft. extension.
