Us folks in the 987.2 Spyder community are smiling. The two piece top design was so (unfairly) maligned and misunderstood by the automotive press back in 2010/2011 but to us owners it’s ingenious and well engineered. It’s great to see Porsche bring it back with the SRS.

I drive with the sunshade up more than I do with the top completely removed. The sun protection that it offers is hard to beat while still allowing the sensory experience of an open top roadster.
