Went ahead and accepted it. Thanks everyone

Now, the question is, do I keep the 4 RS? Or are they too similar? Probably going to wait to drive both before making a decision.

They are completely different cars. It wont take you long behind the wheel to decide which one you want!

Just got my MY25 VIN issued with production starting on August 11th. Surprisingly I'm Vin 001 so guess I'll have the first MY25 Spyder RS in North America.

I’ve been good friends with my SA for a long time and he knows me pretty well. He convinced me to keep my 4RS when my SRS came in, even though he would have loved to sell the 4RS to another customer. I’m glad he talked me into keeping it because they are two of my favorite cars now and although they are very similar, they feel very different. My 4RS has buckets and the SRS has sofas, so that makes a big difference. But it’s more than that. They have two different personalities but share the same glorious engine. Hopefully you can swing both, because it is going to be a tough decision.

Congrats! My Vin is 746 with production start date of 7/9, so mine will be amongst the last of MY24 in North America.

Quick question to all: North America = USA + Canada in Porsche's dictionary?

Yes. I'm told about 800-850 2024 SRS's will be produced for North America. Figure probably 1200 will be done for 2025(to catch up) so a total of 2k is best educated guess anyone can make for total production for NA.

No offense, but where did you get your numbers? I have a hard time believing that many 2024 Spyder RS are coming to NA.

VIN's, they are sequential on the SRS and 4RS so easy to see total production for the year. As you can see above my post, someone has vin 750 and someone with access to the system that I speak to said last vin pull showed 800-850 for 2024.

crazy. Based on the numbers from our local dealers, I figured it would be less. Not the best data point I’ll admit.

Can you or your contact, break out what percentage of NA Spyder RS production is for the United States? (Excluding Canada)

If anyone hears about an available allocation around South Carolina, send me a PM. I know it’s a long shot! Thanks.

My car just started production last week and is VIN 707 so I am not so certain they are sequential. It will be a 24' btw although delivery could be anytime between late August and November.

Sequential as in you can track how many are made and in general get assigned, not sequential for when they come out exactly by the factory. Certain options delay vins and those cars come out later. I know of one 4RS that came out 8 months later but had a first 200 vin but he had cxx/pts as an extreme case.

^^^^This has always been the case. There are complete VIN databases on here…generally sequential in time, but bunches with earlier VINs produced layer

No one should be surprised at the overall numbers. There are 200 US dealers. My “average” dealer got 3 MY24 allocations.
