PMNA will provide configurable MSRP allocations to race team principals. They can give be delivered at any Porsche dealership once the principal decides who it will be delivered to. Understandable they should get some kind of perk for spending millions and supporting the racing programs.

Only if you're a large team that's racing multiple times a month with many factory cars/series. Buying 1 Cup car isn't going to get you anything(you better be spending millions every year on the race cars/series/spares). The teams who do this also typically resell allocations for over MSRP to people.

Good to know for when I raise my racing budget up a notch.

A broker I know just emailed me saying they have a changeable Spyder RS allocation for 60k over. I already have a 4RS so I'm not willing to do 60k over but does someone want it at that? If so PM me and I can share your info with him.

Apparently this is a CA Dealer needing a CA resident. I talked to the broker.

That's a good opening price though, IMHO

I haven't heard anything from my dealer ... but my custom is to leave them alone on allocation day.
They get inundated with calls so I'm not going to add to their exhaustion ... I know that they will let me know if there's any news that affects me either way.
I have heard from a couple of peeps that they got the call from their dealer today, so today was the day.

They seem to be trickling out regionally.

Any knowledge beyond your dealership?

Yes. Not sure about how each store did, depends on their 718 share of nation, etc.

Crazy times when $60k over retail is considered a great price.... though I doubt these cars will ever change hands for less than MSRP in the used car market, so perhaps not all ADM paid will be down the toilet.

In a world full of speculators it's very rare that a manufacturer states outright that something is the last of its kind.
Heck folks have been burned time after time in the Porsche and Ferrari world thinking that this or that is the last NA.
In this case Porsche has stated it outright ... whether they build them for a year or two or more doesn't matter, this is it as far as a mid engine NA GT division Porsche.
It doesn't apply to me because I am neither ... but IF I were a collector/speculator this is as much of a sure thing as it gets.

I’m glad we’ve established this is a money make for speculators and collectors.

How about if you just want to drive the darned thing?

You won't like it, it has a boring PDK, and ugly cowbells, fender vents and naca ducts....or maybe I'm thinking of someone else
