Mine as well. I spend too much reading about cars, but it was worth it in this case. I learned about the Spyder RS in August 2021 (well before the official announcement). It made sense that before going EV that a RS Spyder would be produced as Porsche would finish ICE 718s with a special model. I ended up creating the list at my local dealer as they had not heard of the car. As a result I was able to receive their only SRS allocation.

Pretty much the same here. I had followed the GT4 RS rumors turning into spy photos, then saw a post with the mention of a Spyder RS on a Porsche document. Went into the dealership early Dec 2021 and the dealer hadn't heard of it but put my name down. Car is now built waiting for European delivery in July.

I had the same strategy. I couldn't get a GT4RS allocation, so I put a deposit down at a local dealer 2 years before SRS was announced and was #1 on their list with MSRP in writing. It was 3 years until they got an allocation and it was mine. It'll be almost another year since I ordered it before I get delivery.

I bet you watched that same Belgian (?) YouTuber I did. Can't remember his name. He dropped out of the biz. I was on the phone the next day, but only to the local 4 DFW dealers, none of whom had heard of the car, or were interested in dealing with a non-VIP customer. Way too much money in this market.

I'm looking at a 2024 non-PTS already built that neglect to pay $80k ADM....last week the configurator was at $218k and this week is at $222k so Idk what you mean bout being late to the party......unless you paid $3500 more and it was imbedded in the ADM.

He meant that the price increase has already been discussed as it came out last week.

Was offered a +1 allocation and am doing PPF and ceramic coating through dealership. Build locked over the weekend with production beginning in August and arriving hopefully this October (PTS and ED available but I choose to not do either). I think all-in I paid an extra 30K for watch and extras…some okay opportunities out there. Deal was contingent on me trading in my 992 as well.

Wish mine had PTS available. Locks in August and builds in September but no PTS.

I have a Cali dealer with a Spyder RS allocation I can sell for 55k over MSRP. 2025 model. They may be willing to help me out a little on the ADM if I can bring them a Cali client.

I bet people can get a SRS allocation for less than 50

I don't disagree. I think this one could be had for less than 50k as well if it's for a Cali resident.
