So looks like Boxster and Cayman MY22 numbers are way down in total. This today from R&T: "Porsche only sold 1487 Boxsters and 1701 Caymans in the US in 2022, with both of them down at least 22% from 2021 sales."

Yes, 718s down as compared 2021. Strange thing, lol, 911s up a similar amount…guess we know what the priority is.

What happened to the charts in the OP? They'd be better there than spread through the thread.

Porsche has announced the 718 Spyder and GT4 will cease production effective conclusion of MY23.
Plenty of used ones out there…good luck.

I'm actually a little surprised MY22's had as many produced as they did because there are barely any MY22's showing up for sale. I wonder if a lot of MY20's went to flippers who buy tons of cars and the people actually hanging on to them took a year or 2 to get an allocation.
I'm also guessing MY23 will be >400 <600 for sales, so we'll end up just a bit more volume than 981 GT4's. For a non limited production car that didn't really translate into spamming cars.

I share your view that there don't seem to be many 2022's around; that said, the numbers that were on this thread earlier said 2664 for MYs 2020-2022. And an earlier post said 764 - 2020 GT4 589 - 2021 GT4 1353 - Total 20-21 GT4. That math says there are 1311 2022 GT4's. Which seems very unlikely to me given the ship at the bottom of the Atlantic and the delays caused by the Ukraine war.
On another thread, "Someone on a German forum did some investigating: MY23 1.383 ROW plus 1.165 US so far have been built and/or delivered." Also hard for me to believe but maybe???
Sure would be nice if Porsche didn't make this so much of a mystery!

All the numbers I provided recently are verified cars in North America, with some service history etc
Interestingly, there are only 92 MY22 cars with no service history (within GT4, Spyder and GTS) and I assume they are all sitting at the bottom of the ocean right now

Then why take a deposit 1.5 years ago for something that you are unable to deliver?

Then 20 and 21 production got messed up bad so we ended up with everything getting strung out. No one knew what was to be or not to be on the dealership level.
