Oh, perfect (my question was ambiguous with just "GTS 4.0"), thanks!

How did he get the calipers in red with PCCB?

The Spyder was delivered with Iron brakes, the conversion to PCCB was done for him by DeMan.

I wonder what CCB system they used. Are those actual PCCBs? Was PCCB not available when he ordered the car, or something?

Yes, they are Porsche PCCB's, the red calipers are compatible with the larger rotors with the appropriate pads and mounting hardware, Rick installed them when the car was in the shop for the engine and transmission upgrades, IIRC he had them on hand.

Not sure why Matt didn't order them, I went looking for the details (I recall seeing/hearing him tell the story) but haven't located that yet.

Any chance you could share the raw data (e.g. in a spreadsheet). We could do our own various breakdowns....

I know who he is now as everyone keeps talking about his car but prior to this, I didn't have the faintest. So, although I know who he is for the last few months from these threads, I have never listened to his podcast or watched any of his reviews and I couldn't care less about his car or color choices.

I agree - I quite like it and applaud the man for not going the usual gray/black/white/silver route..zzzzzzzzzz

He purchased a full PCCB take-off set from Deman and had the calipers powdercoated back to red. They're OEM and not re-used the stock steel calipers.

He didn't spec them because the option was off of the ordering list when the car locked down; just the same as my car. And a bunch of others in the forum; same goes with a lot of us and LWBs and PDLS+.

Supply chain forced some hands, and Matt found a way to get CCBs on his car that he was happy with.

@TXshaggy Can we get a cleanup in this thread and remove all the nonsense about Matt's car, which has nothing to do with the subject of the thread? It's been entertaining, and we're all laughing about it on Twitter, but I think it's best served to be nuked from orbit.

Thanks for filling in the details...

FWIW, the following is still true.

the red calipers are compatible with the larger rotors with the appropriate pads and mounting hardware

We like it, the color scheme is consistent and spread appropriately, it is unique and eye catching in a non "gold metallic vinyl wrap" sort of way... very nicely done Mr. Farah!

Do you also have the color breakdown for the CGTS 4.0? Curious minds....
