Thanks for posting this. Puts to bed all of the conjecture and speculation in the past few months.

I genuinely cannot fathom how or why CWM or PG are discontinued. It’s paint, FFS.

SA told me (obviously not anything official) that for PG 8/10 people liked it, but still wouldn't get it. It was my first color choice too

I was waiting for the ball to drop with a big update to PCM 5.0 that would have me raging.

But it seems like they just pulled a bunch of stuff and added nothing. Oh, I guess you can option an electric steering column now...

It makes sense. it's a great color but it's sooooo loud. As much as i love it, sometimes i do feel a bit self conscious because of how much attention the color garners. But then i step out and see the car and love it all the more.

Manual cars don’t have AEB because the car would stall when emergency braking. If I’m not mistaken, it is now compulsory on new cars in the EU. Probably this is the reason why.. but still they are allowed to make them without AEB because it is not a new car

I had AEB and a manual on a Golf R. I actually did use it once, and the car stalled but it saved me from rear ending someone when I shoulder checked……

Sounds like my Cayman 4.0 allocation (#3 on waitlist) will materialize after all. Sad that my first color choice of PG won't be available. Given the lack of option availability, it will pretty much be a stripper other than the leather bits.

Likely a new color will be added to the 718 range with the release of the Spyder RS.
I'd expect some other kind of green, I'm sticking to my guns its Shade Green Metallic seen on the Dakar.
Ice grey metallic will takeover from CWM, not too dissimilar but to charge it as a premium paint is disappointing.
