Correct. PDLS is still available. The issue is likely camera supply related for the PDLS+ system.

What function does the camera perform? Depending on what that is, I could likely live without it. This is a huge styling issue for most of us.

It's still showing on the US configurator, so maybe it's a temporary issue.

Yeah, for me personally, I could live without auto high beams. Just give me the LEDs with the remaining functions!

Unfortunately, many of have builds that are going to lock in the next 30-60 days..... For the rest of you after that, I do hope this gets sorted out.

It's just one part of a whole system. You can't pick and choose what you get. All or nothing.

I understand. What I tried to say is... give me the LEDs without the auto high beams working. I am fine with that. I am assuming the rest of the features would work (but, I could be wrong of course).

Easy exit & entry. Also big benefit for two driver use scenario.

GTS has seat memory option, GT4/Spyder do not.

For those wanting to see pictures of all the different light options, the configurator isn't the best IMO. I found looking for 718's for sale on Porsche.com and then you can filter based on options to see the difference to be worth the extra effort.

I agree, I would be ok with them saying no auto high beam function but we can still have the look of PDLS+

Folks contemplating DIY upgrade to LEDs must be nuts. Totally not worth the expense, warranty issues and modified car stigma on resale.

My car lock date was supposed to be in 20 days, out of a sudden it went back to July 20, so I was not given the option to the PLDS, the car will have the basic headlights, based on the updated spec sheet.

Wow! That is shocking. Thanks for sharing. I am 44 days out from my lock, and based on your comment, I will contact my SA now and make some minor changes.... These are crazy times.

I feel for you guys. I waited a good bit, but at least at the end of it, I had my car as spec'd. This would be very frustrating.

Although, if we are being honest...a bone stock spyder (or gt4) is freakin' awesome. The rest really is gravy. So there's that.
