I'm just hoping that they don't remove WP, mag wheels, and/or PCCBs.

I am not in this position either, so it is easy for us to comment, but I'm not sure I'd take the car either. To me the base lights look like a 2005 GTI, and I can't un-see that.

So just to clarify to eliminate confusion as we get into this discussion:
Base/GT4/Spyder/GT4RS have the base NON-PDLS headlights standard - Bi-Xenon™ headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights - Option on all to step up to PDLS or PDLS+
S/GTS have PDLS as the base lights - Bi-Xenon™ Headlights incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) with integrated 4-point LED daytime running lights. - Option to step up to PDLS+
I had the PDLS lights in my previous 718, which weren't bad. I'm so used to LED lights in all the other cars we've owned and that I regularly drive. I miss the LED light output, but they're not bad. I primarily ordered the PDLS+ for purely aesthetic reasons.
*This is all US-based information.

Three Wheelin'
Those holding out for an official upgrade kit for PLDS+, don't hold your breath. When the 981 GT4 had a bucket shortage, they just kept locking the allocations....take the car or don't. Someone very high up just said the bucket is available via parts lol. Anyway, those lights do look a lot better, but I would not skip the car because of them, especially if it was an RS.
Bose makes no sense in an RS!

Sorry for those who wanted LEDs but I think this is a minor issue. PDLS+ HIDs are excellent and are serviceable.
Loss of electric steering column adjustment in GTS is far more bigger issue functionality wise.

Lights are a secondary issue. I would like them to at least give the option to PDLS instead of default to the basic.
I don't really envision porsche pushing distribution on a car that is on its way out. Or maybe these few remaining months in 22 are the last...

Really? Hmm. I never adjusted my wheel in the GT4 or GT3 after I set it. Didn’t realize people use the electric trim that much.

As far as I know, only the PDLS+ (LEDs) have been dropped, and I believe the PDLS (Bi-Xenon) is still available.
