A car without GPS antenna, but with the Track app, was unable to track location during a free drive in the app.
Seems the car may need the GPS antenna to use track app.
That car now has the GPS antenna and Track app is now working correctly.
Also of note, after doing the map update to 2022/2023, the GEM screen coding under Nav still shows 3/20, while the settings screen shows the updated maps under Version Information.
I remember seeing a post about using AIO after it was patched by Sima. Let me get back to you and find that post.
Found it here post 412. There might be others in this forum

Curious to see if you got the telemetry data without the GPS antenna or just the map or location was not available.
I retried today without luck.
I moved the files direct into the patch folder as recommended.
Still no luck.
Then I check my version again and found I moved the wrong patch.
First I used: MHI2_ER_POG11_K5176_MU1452_PATCH
But Version in my MHI2 says MHI2_ER_POG11_P5176 1452
So K5176 and P5176
I checked and moved the right patch and retried and still no luck
Log says:
-------
search File MU1452-ifs-root-part2-0x00ba0000-3005F400.ifs
No Flashfiles there!
--------
But MU1452-ifs-root-part2-0x00ba0000-3005F400.ifs is part of the MHI2_ER_POG11_K5176_MU1452_PATCH folder (so K not P)
Now I am completly confused and have no idea what's wrong.

Which GPS antenna did you add? OEM? I was thinking of a better one to be connected via BT...

I wonder if you skipped the P85 2021-2022 update matters. Mine shows the latest version after P85 => P87

Many thanks to @718socal and the people behind my case is closed and my MHI2 is sucessfully patched
NOTE: For ARregion, please use AIO method. For ERegion there is no AIO method.
My MHI Version is MHI2_ER_POG11_P5176 MU1452, but MIB is searching for file MU1452-ifs-root-part2-0x00ba0000-3005F400.ifs which is part of the MHI2_ER_POG11_K5176_MU1452_PATCH folder (K5176 not P5176)
The name of patch file in MHI2_ER_POG11_P5176_MU1452_PATCH folder is MU1452-ifs-root-part2-0x00ba0000-4006F400.ifs
To solve this:
- Move MHI2_ER_POG11_K5176_MU1452_PATCH folder to patches, rename it to MHI2_ER_POG11_P5176_MU1452_PATCH
- perfrom patch like in the guide in Post#1
- MIB patched the MHI2 and Nav shows up
Thanks again for all your support!
PS: GPS antenna Model 2020 GTS4,0 with carplay was already installed.
Hey guys! Anybody run into this before? I've scanned this thread and haven't found anything - but for whatever reason, I can't seem to load pages 3-9 so....
Basically, I think? I got things installed. Took me a few attempts - did it a couple times going into the SWDL menu and doing the update (could never get the GEM to load), then I read about changing that text file (_Swdlautorun.txt) so I tried that method, and now I can access the GEM.
However - the only choice I have in the GEM is "Production"

Did I miss a step somewhere?
MIB ist not installed. Did you run the AIO method?
maybe try the manual way like post 1. It‘s not that hard.
I am interested in trying this for my 2020 Spyder. Is there an alternate download site for any of the files needed for this upgrade? I've been trying to get the files for the last couple weeks without any success. I'm in Southern California and it seems like I'm trying to access a server on the other side of the planet.
