Is the 718 Spyder used market still commanding above MSRP? Looked at 2023 with 2,000 miles. 130,000 MSRP. Dealer (non-Porsche) is asking $138,000. Car appears to be in mint condition.
Is this normal? Good deal or Bad Deal. Appreciate any insight.

Dealer? Yes above MSRP. Private party? MSRP or below depending on spec.

factors I would consider are:
1) cpo or not
2) what color
3) how valuable are the options (130 is a reasonably high msrp but I would say 18-ways are not worth much but pccb/buckets are)

It's much easier for a Porsche dealer to command a higher price because there's a certain demographic of buyers who factor in convenience into their purchase which includes walking into a dealer, trading in their car and trusting the dealer is giving them an exceptional car. They are willing to pay 5-10k+ more for that privilege. Same holds true for other brands too such as if you look at 458's, the Ferrari dealers are able to sell them at a premium compared to private/other dealers.

If you're looking to finance my credit union, which offers the best rates in the area, will not finance a private sale but maybe that's not true of other banking institutions.
