Odd spec or not, that car was definitely enjoyed! Probably one of the highest mileage 9a2 4.0 cars out there.

That sounds more like deceitful dealer, not a problem with CPO. And my mention of CPO was to indicate properly maintained and with an intact warranty.
At my local dealer CPO means no aftermarket anything on the car, not pads or even tires, they too have to be N-Spec and newer than 4 years as date coded.

BUT… I have read SO MANY stories on RL similar to my experience, that I would not trust CPO unless I know the dealer and understand that they actually do the required inspection. Otherwise, I would absolutely consider buying a CPO car but I would have my own, independent PPI completed (at my cost). And I’d do this even with remaining factory warranty. In my opinion (based on my own experience), if I’m gonna spend six figures on a used car… it’s worth another few hundred for an independent opinion.

This just finished and did $112,250 plus fees. MSRP looks to be 118k. Grand Prix bought it. So $117,250 if you include the 5k fee. Close to MSRP for a 2021 with track time. I guess that's about where we're at these days unless you have a rare color or spec. (edited)

I don’t understand pcar market. Seems like most auctions are RNM or bring lower bids than BAT.
I don’t think the sellers words helped either…”never been hit on track”; I sure hope not

There hasn't been a 718 GT4 on BaT for almost a month because the reserve prices they are offering with how much the market has gone down is making people pause. I bet this same GT4 on BaT would get a 105-110k reserve so instead he agreed to a 118k+(MSRP) reserve on PCarMarket and when he saw no one bid higher he let it go for 112k.

Head in sand syndrome, the market is dropping especially if I consider my 2021 sale in Sept with ~11k miles with no bones about it being tracked was ~$10k more on a lower MSRP CPO car.

Within a day of listing my Spyder for $128k (10k over MSRP) I had 5 buyers willing to buy "right now" (all were aware of the fender & bumper replacement), so I am not sure what's going on.
I always thought those bidding websites are bad for Porsches - when I searched a 981 Boxster S I was meticulous about specific options I wanted. All those bidding websites are missing buyers that might be willing to pay premium in order to get their exact build.
