Sold for $93.3k. Fair deal. I think that hooker lipstick interior probably didn’t help resale value.

The market has spoken. The 25th is a design failure. I always feel like I have to force myself to like it. At least they could have put the Black/Bordeaux interior to eliminate that red dash.

That is a significant discount from new which is rare these days with any car much less a limited numbered Porsche. Maybe in 20 years, collectors will be scrambling for them?

Yeah it's a shame that it looks so weird in the color you should want it in, silver. Silver and gold are odd together. So you end up wanting a black one but even then it's just a bit awkward. The side intake may be the most glaring issue. Maybe it's hard to come up with fun, unique styling elements for a car that don't actually cost a bunch of money and drive the price up. Obviously the gold bits on a Sport Classic are fine, but they are mostly badging not plastic trim pieces. I think it's made tougher because the regular 718 is so exceedingly attractive including with good wheel options that this just didn't have much of anywhere to go.

I don’t think it’s unique to the 25th. GTS 4.0L’s aren’t getting premiums new anymore, which means used are gonna sell at a discount. Personally, I don’t think the GTS 4L is going to depreciate much slower than the regular GTS over time. The motor alone just isn’t that big of a deal. They lack all the other bits that make the GT4 and Spyder special cars.

Actually, I think the car looks best in black, but it needs the black/Bordeaux interior rather than the red/red/red interior.

Before I got my Spyder, I was trying to get an MSRP allocation in early 2022 for either a Spyder or GTS 4.0. I didn't do a ton of work because the mark-ups were silly, or the wait was too long, but was offered a 25-th year Boxster at MSRP almost immediately. My initial reaction was "wow, that was lucky, of course I'll take it", having not actually considered it previously. Then I tried to configure it. I couldn't force myself to like any configuration. The gold kills it entirely for me, regardless of what it is paired with. I was leaning black and black to minimize the clash with the gold, but just couldn't do it.

I ended up with a CPO Spyder that had almost a perfect spec for me, that I got at MSRP but had 4k miles. I still look at the 25-year and scratch my head. It is unfortunate. Different strokes for different folks I guess, so happy for the people who like them, but not my thing.

P.S. For context, I also have a gold Turbo S Exclusive series, so I actually like gold, but on the 25, it just looks randomly attached in a few spots like some teen was trying to jazz up his car. My opinion, but seems like they assigned a summer intern to take a boxster and try to make it look different with a budget limited to $5000.

I also think that it looks best in black, it reminds me of another black and gold car.

I dig the wheels, but the intake scoops look like they were slapped on at AutoZone.
Im also a SPYDER or bust kind of guy when it comes to the 718 drop tops. The BGTS just doesnt look right when its big sister is drop dead gorgeous, and I feel the CGTS looks far better than the BGTS.

Just wait until people that bought the 0000 model for 75% over MSRP sober up! That has to be the worst value in the entire lineup. Sorry to say.

GTS 4.0 was never going to hold value like the GT4 or Spyder. It's not a true GT car.
