Ok, so I programmed the top to open via the remote. It worked, but the windows remained partially down, which is potentially problematic when you are raising the top remotely. I'm supposing the last two circled items will make them close. I apologize if this is mentioned in this lengthy thread someplace. I will change nein to ja and report back
Yes that is correct. You also have to disable Windows Up/Down from Keyfob setting.
There are other features you can enable in the cluster. That does not mean they would work. Additionall coding is necessary. For *** offf, you can just code the BKE to remember the last mode

Just change two settings in BKE. It is linked in the first post. No DRL yet. Mirror Retract is default. Which version of PIWIS do you have?

I have Cayenne 958. but it will work or hint for me.
Hahaha I don't know anything about 958 Cayenne. Just look for those values. For the newer cars 992 or Cayenne 9Y0, you will need to code the keys and user accounts.
can piwis be used to change the infotainment system? here's a couple of things that bug me. I'm using an android phone
1) it insists on beeping for emails, even tho I have notifications for emails off on the phone itself
2) in the contacts list it does not show the contact's picture, even tho when dialing a person it does. My wife's all track shows a screen of the 6 star contacts, with pics, which is really nice.

Are you using Android Auto? If you are not, I did not see any settings in PIWIS for what you are looking for.
I changed these parameters from no to yes, and now opening and closing the top remotely seems to work as I would expect
What a fabulous feature remote opening and closing is! It was so satisfying for me to walk up to the car, and have it open for me as I walked the last 20 yards to the car. I'd really like to know what thought processes porsche went through in order to deny this feature to north americans.

Is it possible to change the boost curve on turbo cars using PIWIS?
