Another finding today, the mirror tilt can be activated/deactivated by your mirror switch right or left button. If you go into reverse the switch will light up to the right button. To disable, you can press the left button and the mirror reverts to its normal setting.

Another setting that I changed was the Park Assist screen and sound when the ignition is ON. When I am parked inside my garage, the garage door and the back wall trigger the Park Assist sensors. I disabled the Parking Assist so that it would activate now only after I release the E-Brake.
First screen shot is the default setting. Second one is the setting that I chose.

just to clarify — your car was not purchased with the navigation option, you enabled WLAN via PIWIS and got track precision working? That’s awesome if so!!

That is correct. You just need to enable WLAN and connect your phone with Wi-Fi and BT to get the app going. I also added NAV later.

Last Mode coding DIY

Change the PIWIS mode to E (development)

Open the diagnostics for the car type, then make the following selections.

1. BKE (bedien und klimaeinheit)
operation and climate

2. Codierung Anpassungen
Coding adaptations

3. Manuelle Codierung ohne MCR Regeln (Entwicklung)
Manual coding without MCR rules (development)

4. Select both kodierwert:kodierwert default fahrzustand and kodierwert:kodierwert default fahrzustand last mode
codeword default driving state

5. In Wert (value) dropdown
Change ...fahrzustand to "last mode"
Change ...fahrzustand last mode to "ja"

6. Click schreiben (save) at bottom.

Coding complete. Exit and change the settings back to V (aftersales) mode if desired.
This is awesome. Disabling auto start stop/cylinder deactivation is a must in this car IMO. I've gotten used to pressing the button but it would be great for the car to remember it!

Interesting. I'm pretty sure I have an "Apps" icon on my Spyder already.... but I don't think it does anything. I'll have to play around with this too!

Does the "Amazon Music" app in your screenshot basically let you stream Amazon Music via the car's internal data connection? Or via a connected phone? Or..... ???

I believe it’s there if you have the Porsche Connect setup at delivery. This allows you to synch your POI or Favorite destinations from your phone to the NAV. For Amazon Music I got an error when I tried to launch it.

Blatantly stolen from the Macan forum, this is how to illuminate the dash backlighting for black dials all the time. It just tells the car it has white dials not black, where the default is always on.

(1) Kombinstrument: Dimmung - allegemeine Konfiguration: Konfiguration zentrales Zifferblatt Weiss = ja
{Instrument cluster: dimming - general configuration: configuration central dial white = yes}

(2) Kombinstrument: Dimmung - allgemeine Konfiguration: Konfiguration alle Zifferblatter Weiss = ja
{Instrument cluster: dimming - general configuration: configuration of all dials white = yes}

If someone could work out how to make the pointers illuminate all the time, I would be an even happier bunny.
