Maybe it comes with 2 wheels? Tire shortage, you know.

They can afford to if the sales volume numbers I read for 2021 are accurate. Banner year in volume at prices, on average, of what? Fifteen percent over MSRP with little advertising or sales effort necessary? No haggling. No lot full of cars to wash all week long. No dead batteries to constantly charge and replace. No lot damage. These are the best of times for them. What's that famous quote from a Tale of Two Cities?

I would agree with that, but I'd put it at about a month, provided it is listed where it should be. Just took me over 4 months to sell a silver/black 2021 C8 vert. I knew what it was worth. The problem is I couldn't get one human on the planet to agree with me.

Because that is clearly ludicrous, is there possible some rational for this pricing? IE is there something that the dealers know that we do not yet know? I cannot imagine anyone would consider purchasing this car near $200k. I get it, the car is a total riot and I love the one I just got. But I do not love it THAT much.

You doubt there exists a buyer for whom, with respect to this car and this moment, money is absolutely no object? If I had the coin that some (and likely some of you) have, I could give two giant sheets about $60K and wouldn't think about it again after taking delivery.

closed a deal on another one (first one was a scam) this am. 6mt, PCCB/s, black. In the pool, you all got me. 23K over MSRP. I know I contributed to the nonsense.

You’re not crazy! I bought a 2,500mi steelie/sofa car for $16k over a couple weeks ago. Drove it today and said to myself this car is underpriced on the sticker. Amazing car. Congrats!

You should post a Spyder review once you get some seat time under your belt. Would be curious to get your thoughts on the Spyder vs all the other cars you've owned. Just be prepared to be disappointed with the exhaust note/sound.

cooler I was already trolling the for sale part of the site for OPF delete's and an Xpipe.... It's awful I know. I am excited to compare versus the 981 spyder (probably my favorite bang around driver).

While it's hard to predict when it'll trickle down, with stocks down 15% ytd or more and crypto down 50% from peak, hard to see prices on any consumer good that took off in the last 18 months holding at a level set during the peak. Yes, there may be an argument for end of an era etc etc but if even things that by nature appreciate YoY like stocks are down, there's no reason for assets that normally depreciate to also follow that trend. But again, prices tend to be stickier downward than upward so it'll take some time.

Not many come up for sale used sadly. I'd say grab the Flat6 Motorsports over axle pipes first(heat wrapped + $1700) and then wait for a used exhaust to come up for sale.
