"Worth it" is relative, but doubtful bolt-ons are going to make an uphill (and I'm talking 5% grade) 3rd gear pull, from a slow roll, feel the same as as a stock car in 1st gear on a flat. Factor in some exhaust "solutions" are $20k alone, pick your poison.
Yeah for sure there are pricey options but you have resale and warranty to consider. Anyway I'll leave it at that. I also think the gt3 is plenty fast out of the box and I won't disparage anyone looking for more performance.
I haven't heard great things about DeMan to take this endeavor. His hp claims are based on 98 octane on top of that. Not really worth the money and you can get close with safe bolt on and tunes.
Based on the way my car decimates a 991.2 GT3, I’d say the number is pretty accurate.
The most I've ever seen from on-track footage is that it's about equal. But feel free to post something better of course, there is a serious deficit of proper 4.5L footage out there.

Been finding it difficult to drive both cars simultaneously hehehe
Is there serious doubt that a 4.5 stroker Deman Cayman running 98 octane with supporting mods isn't noticeably faster in a straight line than a stock 992.2 gt3?
There is skepticism, then there is just being silly.

Expectation is that it's a bit quicker on the street and a bit slower on track due to intake temp issues inherent to 981 side intakes.. But wouldn't it be nice for at least someone, after dozens and dozens of these have been built, to finally let us find out how quick it actually is? Why is this as big of a taboo as placing a "find out if God exists for real" button in a church?
