That one is my favorite as well. I had one of a biker passed the car full neck cranked but he was half cut off so not a keeper

Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.

Great pics. Care to share the camera model, lens size/speed, etc. ?
Car looks fantastic.

Is your license plate standard issue, or is it some sort of play on the CAS system and a reference to Hexamethyldisilane?

Thanks. No special meaning to the plate, just a random state issued number.

I shoot with a Sony A7iii and after buying a million lenses, sold most of them and settled on a Sigma 24-70 2.8 Art lens which I used for these photos, and a Sony 100-400 for track and candid shots. Unless I’m shooting long exposure on a tripod or racing,I almost always shoot in aperture priority. These shots are a mix from 2.8 to 9.

24-70 is best lens to carry around, I do with my Nikon. Congrats on the car, I got one on order

A graphic artist I know on Instagram created an awesome rendering of my Spyder. He had previously done one for my Turbo that hangs proudly in my garage. This will hang next to it once I decide between logo or no logo. Carl Fassberg (@pilhage_design) is the artist.

Some recent photos from various events.

My son and I playing Santa on a Toy Drive. Temps in the 30s but the hats and heater kept us toasty!

Shep wanted to show off every inch of the Spyder!

Photo shoot at Pacific Raceways.

My favorite shot of the day.

Local cars and coffee on a rare dry December day…maybe the last one of the year!

I think that the spoiler looks goofy when it is up, the only time I raise it manually is when washing the car.

IMHO, the only time it looks right extended is at speed.

I had a great local company, Right Away Tire, come by the house to mount some dedicated winter tires on the Spyder. I went with the Michelin Alpin 4 which I plan to use for winter tours and weekend fun Oct to Feb.

Seattle has been dumped on this last week with temps staying way below freezing, so I just had to get out in the snow and test these new shoes. Wow…they did an amazing job. Very confidence inspiring in powder and packed snow and ice. I’m so glad I decided to go this route. Thankfully I didn’t snowplow much after leaving my alley

Happy New Year everyone!

Happy New Year Jeff! Great set of pictures. That tire service is impessive --- being able to fit their mounting and balancing equipment in the back of the truck.
Did you have many options to choose from? Will be interesting to hear your report on how they do.

@Jeff Jones Brave man taking your Spyder out in the snow, not because with the proper tires that you would have any problems, more about the craziness I see on the road in these conditions. TBH, the other night when the snow was fresh I was tempted to go test out my tires but it is too late now, the salt and brine spreading has begun.

Great pictures!
